But leave that, I was watching TV recently and once again became disgusted with the human race when the airing of the attempts by a few humans with souls to expose 'The Cove'. The Cove is a bay in Japan where a handful of Japanese fishermen mercilessly slaughter thousands of innocent dolphins. The saddest moment was when a baby dolphin breaks free from the nets and heads towards these conservationists bleeding profusely as it goes, squeaking in terror as only a dolphin can, eventually just before it reaches the caring people, it dips below the water surface, comes up one, twice and then, in the throes of death, it squeaks one final heart wrenching baby dolphin squeak, and disappears never to be seen again. I cried. I cried for the dolphins and I cried for us disgusting human beings.
Then I read this this morning. 'I am thrilled to report that something very significant happened in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan last Saturday, November 24. A group of around 70 people, more than 40 of which were Japanese nationals, protested the slaughter of dolphins that happens each year in Taiji, Japan. For years, the Earth Island Dolphin Project team and I have been working towards this. We've contacted and met with Japanese people around the globe, and it has finally happened - the first Japanese protest against the hunts! The tradition in Japan is to not publicly speak out against the government or your fellow citizens.'
So there may be hope for us yet. Then I read something really funny. The United Kingdom gave 19 million British pound in aid to South Africa and our President Jacob Zuma built himself a mansion homestead for 17,5 million British Pounds. Women, children and whole families have suffered and died form aids, with limited or no medical support, thousands go without toilets or running water. But hey he will probably get a second term. Let's see if Zilla can do something about it in Gauteng.
With the 'Secrecy Bill' about to be made legislation, this may be the last time I can sprout my mouth like this. Soon I will have to go home and shuddup.
More importantly for the world, The EU seems to be coming to some consensus on saving their Union and have decided to dole out more billions of Euros in a desperate effort to plug the holes that are threatening to erode the dyke of fiscal fortitude the EU have been clinging to. I don't trust those banks one bit.
