Lady Gives Birth At Music Concert
As the iconic global DJ Black Coffee made an appearance on stage, Nonhle Makhoba from Inanda went into labour and was immediately moved from the concert area to the medical compound on site.
"It was a rather strange event to occur at a live music concert, but we were very pleased to have all the resources available to attend to the patient on site" explained organiser Stu Berry of Impi Concerts.
"Makhoba was initially placed inside the medical facility with the intention of transporting her to hospital for further care, but it all came about rather quickly and after around 45 minutes of labour, her new born child was ready to come out. EMS paramedics Muhammed Dawood and Tommy Reid quickly reacted and delivered Nonhle's newborn child on site in perfect health" explained Berry.
Makhoba was transported, along with her newborn and proud father to Addington hospital for further care.
