New Citro‘n C1 - More Than A Feeling

New Citro‘n C1 - More Than A Feeling

Date: 2015-01-30

The New Citro‘n C1 heralds a new era of city motoring, where the emphasis is on practicality and efficiency tailored for the urban environment, but without sacrificing driver enjoyment. With a cheeky personality, eager road manners, unrivalled manoeuvrability and low operating costs, getting around has never been so much fun.

It continues to offer an upbeat solution to urban mobility requirements, in a thoroughly contemporary package. Available as the highly-specced five-door Feel model, the C1 combines dynamic and lively design with a spacious interior and compact exterior dimensions.

Adding indisputable fashion appeal to the C1 range is the stylish C1 Airscape, which enables an al fresco feeling at the touch of a button. A full-length, retractable fabric roof slides all the way back to the rear hatch so that you can let the sunshine inand when necessary it can be closed in seconds, for refinement and insulation which matches the steel-roofed version. It really does offer the best of both worlds.

The newcomer sets high standards for road handling and ride comfort. A new electrically-assisted rack and pinion delivers precise and accurate steering. The new PureTech engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. This 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, 61kW petrol engine achieves fuel consumption of 4,3 litres/100 km on the combined cycle, while emitting just 99g/km of CO2. Servicing is only required every 20 000 km.

With its low running costs, affordable price tag, city-friendly sizing, zesty performance, and Gallic flair, the new Citro‘n C1 is the perfect combination of freedom and fun. It's a feeling that'll prove hard to resist.
