A New Audi Q2
A New Audi Q2
Date: 2024-12-24
Audi's latest addition to its SUV line-up, the new Q2, brings an air of refinement to the market, challenging stayed design queues. This stylish compact crossover from Audi represents a bold departure from the German marque's traditional conservative styling, and I was drawn to it instantly.
The Q2's chiselled lines, angular creases, and coupe-like silhouette drew a lot of attention on the road. However, it's not all about looks - the Audi Q2 is packed with clever tech and premium features that make it a joy to drive and own.
The interior is a masterclass in minimalist chic, with Audi's renowned Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster and an ever eager 8.3-inch infotainment screen that took centre stage. The materials are top shelf, and the space is surprisingly generous for a car of this size.
I drove the Q235 TFSI 110kW Tiptronic, equipped with the 1.4 litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine and a beautifully calibrated suspension that the sharp brakes and facilitated the 110 kilowatts of power and 250 Newton meters of torque with a sense of joy and enthusiasm. And with advanced safety features like autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, this little Audi is as safe as it is stylish.
Adding more feature with every turn, the customisable ambient lighting package is an example of the lengths that Audi has gone to in making the new Q2 prefect for you. From the panoramic sunroof to the digital instrument cluster, this compact SUV will raise your eyebrows when you tramp on the accelerator.
