Exhibition at Simbithi Country Club

Exhibition at Simbithi Country Club

Date: 2015-04-10
Resident photographer Brad Mears, and artist Steve van der Schyff will be co-hosting an exhibition on the 15th April 2015.

Familiarpaintingsof Ballito, as well asimages taken in far-flung parts of the world, will be on show at the Simbithi Country Club from 6pm.

Both Brad and Steve, aim to bring fresh perspectives, bright colours, and smiling faces that will make any patron happy.

In sharing what the exhibition is about, Brad says:

'I am exhibiting images pleasing to the eye, but that have been taken in places which are difficult to get to,fromMali, Nepal, and Vietnam. Whether they be human interest,or panoramic images, I want to take the viewer away to magical places.'

Steve, on the other handwill be exhibiting some of his latest paintings, which are a surreal interpretation of images of Ballito, and theadjacent coastline.

'Steve and I agreed to host the event, as our work is complementary. Whilst Steve has hosted a number of exhibitions in Ballito, I am new to the scene. I would encourage anyone who enjoys discovering fresh perspectives on the world we live in to come and join us.'
