The Ford Everest Reigns Supreme

As a motoring journalist I have spent countless hours behind the wheel of various SUVs across our beautiful country, I can confidently say that the Ford Everest stands head and shoulders above its competitors. This vehicle has captured the hearts of South African families and gathered award the world over.

The accolades speak volumes about the Everest's excellence. In 2023, it secured second place overall in the prestigious SAGMJ Car of the Year competition while claiming the top spot in the Adventure SUV category - recognition that validates what we've known all along. This isn't just marketing fluff; it's testament to Ford's commitment to delivering a vehicle that understands our unique driving conditions.

During my week-long test drive of the Everest Platinum, under gruelling conditions, I discovered what sets this SUV apart - it's a remarkable blend of luxury and capability. The bi-turbo diesel engine delivered effortless power whether navigating Durban's hectic traffic or tackling the Drakensberg passes. The seven-seater configuration didn't compromise on comfort, while features like the panoramic sunroof and premium leather made every journey feel special.

But ownership extends beyond the vehicle itself. My experience with CMH Ford Ballito has been exceptional - their customer-centric approach, world-class facilities, and knowledgeable service team, make owning a Ford genuinely rewarding. From their efficient parts department to their professional sales staff, they understand that great service builds lasting relationships.

For South African motorists seeking a premium SUV that handles our diverse terrain while offering family comfort and proven reliability, the Ford Everest range of models offer an SUV that will add so much to your lifestyle. With Ford's comprehensive factory warranty and service plan, you will have complete peace of mind from day one. The Everest is not just transport; it's your gateway to adventure.
