Hotel iZulu's Wine Festival rocks Ballito
June's unique food pairings were created by the hotel's new Executive Chef, Tyrone Sumner. Over two hundred people came to enjoy Strandveld range of delectable wines, paired expertly with Chef Sumner's food creations. The food and wine pairing options on the day were - seared tuna fillet, sautŽed Lisbon potatoes with melted onion, paprika and parsley, aioli paired with First Sighting Shiraz Rose 2012. Seared tiger prawns, herbed couscous salad and mango chilli, lime and coriander salsa was paired with First sighting Sauvignon Blanc 2012 and the gorgonzola, pear and walnut salad with mixed leaves was paired with Strandveld Adamastor 2010.
