F1 Report

Date: 2013-06-13
The Maple leaf bode exceptionally well for Red Bull and Sebasian Vettel who despite a brush with a wall and a little driver error on the first corner in the fifty-second lap, was seemingly untouchable. Having lapped everyone up to sixth place, Vettel went on to claim first place more than fourteen seconds ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso in the Canadian Formula One Grand Prix this weekend.

Mark Webber's chances for a podium finish were destroyed Caterham's Giedo van der Garde made contact with the Red Bull's front end, causing Mark to finish in fourth place.

So far ahead of the pace was Vettel, that everybody thought he was on a three-stop strategy. His tyre management proved to be extremely important as it is with the car you drive, so speak to Hi-Q on 032 552 4153 and get your rubber sorted.

Winning in Montreal pushes Vettel even further ahead in the drivers' championship, taking his point's tally to 132. Alonso now lies second with 96 points followed by Kimi Raikkonen on 88. The to two contenders in the constructor standings are Red Bull of course with 201 points followed by Ferrari on 145.
