Renault Duster 4 X 4 Tested

Renault Duster 4 X 4 Tested

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2018-04-13

The rear window of the new Renault Duster allows for ample visibility, however you will more than likely be engaged with the view from the front window now that the Duster has 4X4 capability.

I test drove the new Renault Duster 1.5 DCi Dynamique with 4x4 and found the 210mm of ground clearance came in handy when traversing rain gouged dirt roads and the raised pedestrian crossings that litter the roads in Ballito.

The steep approach and departure angles of the 4X4 Duster show that the designers were serious about this model s off road ability. And the free revving engine provided great low rev torque, making the Duster 4X4 a very capable off road SUV.

In true Renault fashion, the Duster 1.5 DCi Dynamique was crammed with tech and spec. Standard equipment includes ABS brakes with EBD, power-assisted steering, six-function on-board computer, front and side airbags, electric windows front and rear, electric mirrors, remote central locking, reverse parking sensors, front fog lamps, roof rails, 16 inch wheels, Touchscreen navigation, Cruise Control, Bluetooth connectivity and fingertip audio controls.

The success of the Renault Duster can partly be attributed to the spacious and comfortable seating provided for five passengers and the general ease of use that I experienced when driving the Duster.

Contact Renault Ballito for a chance to test drive any one of the amazing new Renault models they have in stock. Call them on 032 - 946 5820 and feel it for yourself.
