Whacky Market

Whacky Market

Date: 2012-10-17
On Saturday 13 October the first ever Whacky Seaside Market was held in the car park of the Salt Rock Shopping Centre. The tenants got together and decided to hold a Market to generate interest in the Centre. The Fire department released foam much to the delight of all the children and the Police Dog unit brought a money- sniffing dog called Erica, who showed us her incredible skill, much to the amazement of the audience. There were delicious food stalls, colourful clothing, and an awesome art exhibit, interesting jewelry and hand-crafts.

The Salt Rock shopping Centre now has some very interesting destination stores, A-Z 2nds - furniture and collectibles; Ballito Hobbies - radio controlled models; Bee's Arts & Crafts - fine art and craft lessons; BoHo - bohemian boutique; Kooku Bonsai Cafe - smoothies and bonsai's; the ever popular Amika beauty therapist, Salt Rock Veterinary Clinic and Umoya Pilates Studio all whom participated in the market by having specials, cupcake classes, Cuppa for Cansa The Centre is planning another market for December, so watch the press for details. Contact 032525 9049 for any more details.
