Local business took time to spread happiness with Food!

Local business took time to spread happiness with Food!

Date: 2015-03-27
The team at Blue Strawberry took time out of their busy cooking schedules to bring some cheer to the children of St Theresa's in Mayville, Durban.

St Theresa's Home was established in 1925 by the Augustinian Sisters and provides specialised care for orphaned and vulnerable boys from the ages of 3 - 18 years from poor communities across KZN.

This particular home is also very close to the company's heart as Kitchen Manager, Tony Roberts called St Theresa's his home for fifteen years. Together with the team at Blue Strawberry they wanted to give back what the school had given him and so many other children.

The team prepared a scrumptious meal of chicken minestrone casserole with butternut fritters, chocolate as well as cheese croissants for 72 of the children who reside there, including 12 caregivers and teachers. To end the meal, the children also got to enjoy a delicious cake baked by Tony Roberts. For more info contact http://www.bluestrawberry.co.za/
