Tail Trails - The Pawfect Way To Spend Time With Your Dogs

Tail Trails - The Pawfect Way To Spend Time With Your Dogs

Date: 2017-10-06

So many of us feel guilty about leaving our dogs behind while we go off for a run or a walk with friends. The team from Pawfect have come up with a great solution - Tail Trails. Dogs - and their owners - are invited to head out to Sugar Rush Park every Thursday night at 5.30 and hit the trails. All free of charge!

There is a 700m puppy course and then a 3.5 and 5km routes that you and your dog/s can either run/ walk.

Dogs need to be on lead and owners will need a head lamp/ torch for the last little bit of the trail while the sunsets.

Comments one of the organisers, and a director of Pawfect, Sarah Swainson, "It is an easy Holla route and allows owners and dogs to take advantage of the magnificent "playground" that we have at our back door in Ballito. The main aim of Pawfect's Tail Trail is to get human's doing more with their dogs and being active. Exercise is both good for humans and dogs and keeps them both out of mischief! It's really "pawsome" to see so many dogs and their owners getting out, all shapes and size (both humans and dogs)" Says Sarah.
