Ntombifuthi Gumede was born in Inanda Township in Durban. Married and blessed with, two boys and two girls, Ntombi is not just a pretty face, she also a business woman. A proud owner of two businesses - Eyethu Private Ambulances and Posh Kiddies Salon and Spa.
Ntombifuthi Gumede, also hold the title of Mrs KZN 1st Princess 2016 and Mrs SA top 100 finalist 2016. Her Motto in life is "Yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery, it's not how good you are but how good you want to be." Which she shares with her children, her husband, and anybody who has low self-esteem and feels like a failure in life.
Speaking to The Bugle, Ntombifuthi said, "I'm am very honoured to be Mrs KZN 1st princess and get to work with the two Most beautiful and humble woman Miss KZN Natalie and Mrs KZN Tracy and I am very grateful to be involved in the Mrs SA journey, which include the workshops and the tasks given. It has open my mind, developed and inspired me as a person. Mrs South Africa is more than just a pageant but its helps develops and empower women to play critical roles in the community." She said.
"I have leant over the past years that to achieve your goals in life, you need to empower yourself - woman empowerment is an attitude, a belief, it comes with you. I normally tell my female staff that if you really want something you need to have bigger dreams and always aim for the impossible, and then work towards those dreams and goals." concluded Ntombifuthi.
She decided to host the 'We Are For Women'- High Tea and Fashion Show to promote women empowerment and to raise funds for PINC to assist them in raising funds for their campaign to purchase bras for women affected with breast cancer
The designers who showcased were Storm by Brand Habit, Tas-Ver Beach wear, Senzy Fashion designs, Ekamu designs, Bourge designs and Roi Rok Bokkie designs.
