Yes It Is Grand

Yes It Is Grand

Date: 2013-05-30
The cab forward design on the Daihatsu Gran Max is built to increase the loading area and ability to work. Its big load bed of 3.7 square metres and a carry capacity of 1 Ton sets it apart from its overpriced and difficult to run competitors.

With a low loading height of 720mm and 3-way drop sides, loading and unloading has never been easier. As the most reliable engine in its class, affordable part pricing, proven fuel efficiency and a clutch protection mechanism, this workhorse will make you money, not cost you any.

The Japanese built Gran Max, like all Daihatsu vehicles, is known for its reliability and durability. It boasts a high quality, consistent performing engine you can count on. The chassis of the Gran Max in cross section is reinforced for sturdy performance even under big loads.

The 1.5L Dynamic Variable Valve Timing engine (DVVT) is the most advanced petrol engine in its class. DVVT also provides great pulling power and carrying ability at lower revs, while at higher revs reduces fuel consumption. Add to that its intelligent catalyst technology and you'll see how the Gran Max gives your business all the power it needs to succeed. The Distributor-less engine delivers better fuel economy, clear emissions and lower maintenance costs. A plastic intake manifold allows the engine to heat fast reducing potential wear-and-tear. The catalytic converter cleans the exhaust while you drive and 90% of the Torque the Gran Max produces is available at only 2000rpm. Fuel consumption is reported at 7.5 liters per 100km, as tested unloaded.
