Situated right on the beach on the famous Marine Parade, Moyo's location is as unique as some of the dishes on their menu. The staff are very friendly and authentic, the dishes are wholesome and hearty and the overall feeling of abundance can be felt throughout its ethnically styled interiors.

To start there is carrot and cumin soup: East African carrot soup with a touch ofcumin spice. Or you can choose the trio of samosas:pea and potato, cheese and curried beefmince samosas (one of each flavour served).
For the main course there is iSishebo lamb curry: a traditional Durban lamb curry cooked in Moyo's ownspecial masala blend of spices, served with sambals of coconut, bananas inyoghurt, fresh chillies, onions and tomatoes, fruit chutney and crisppoppadum. Then there is the option of a 300 gram rumpserved with sweet spiced carrots with cumin and honey, green beans with sesame seeds and "pap and sheba" or chips. Their famous calamari dophi:seared calamari with molasses, groundnut andchilli sauce, served with rice or couscous is very popular or you can choose their Maputo peri peri spatchcock baby chicken: flamed spatchcockperi peri baby chicken with chips or tagine seven vegetables: seasonal selection of roast pumpkin,chickpeas, red pepper, zucchini, ginger, garlic and cous cous, braisedin an aromatic paprika and turmeric sauce. Wow.
To end a feast of South African delight there is the Moyo Moja:baked apricot, ginger and cinnamon pudding, servedwith vanilla custard ora Kahlua or Irish coffee. This dining experience really is fantastic value for money.
