Master fear and live safer with B&A

Master fear and live safer with B&A

Date: 2013-08-01
Don't let yourself become a victim of violence and crime. In support of Women's Month in August, Bruniquel & Associates - one of South Africa's leading Industrial Relations and Training Consultants - is running a practical one-day course in Durban with a leading expert in avoidance and self-defence.

Don Gold is the Managing Director of the Minimum Force Institute of Africa, a company that has for almost two decades trained law enforcement, security forces and private citizens on conflict handling, particularly in volatile situations. Gold specialises in teaching people how to identify and master their fight-or-flight response to best effect in threatening situations.

Other topics that will be covered at this hands-on B&A workshop include how to recognise danger and develop a survival mindset; how to use your voice and body language to defuse tense situations; and how to formulate a home security checklist. Course attendees will also learn combat stance, pressure point principles, grip breaks and improvised weaponry.

Gold will be assisted on the day by B&A's Bruno Bruniquel and Bradley Pandy, both veteran martial artists.? ?B&A's self-defence course is taking place on Saturday, 3 August at Suncoast Casino & Entertainment World. The R600 entry fee includes refreshments and a light lunch - and funds raised by the workshop will be donated to the Open Door Crisis Centre. https://www.opendoor.org.za.

Learn the skills that will empower you, and potentially save you and your loved ones. Bookings can be made through Melissa Daniel on 031 309 4627 or melissa@bruniquel.co.za
