The New Volkswagen Passat

The New Volkswagen Passat

Date: 2016-12-23
From McCarthy Volkswagen Durban

Test-driving the new Volkswagen Passat was an experience I believe everybody who can drive should have. This car has been overlooked and undervalued by the SA motoring scene, however once you have experienced the tight control the steering gives you and the precision accuracy the brakes provide, you will be impressed, I know I was.

Then there was the luxury, not just the plush leather seats that were oh-so comfortable, but the soft feel dashboard materials and the stylish layout of the interior. The Passat seemed to have it all and in my opinion offered a really excellent executive saloon option, with all the technology and safety you would expect from Volkswagen.

The recent addition of a 2.0 TDI engine to the eighth generation model lineup of the Volkswagen Passat range brings a 130 kilowatt option into the lineup, and with fuel consumption figures of just 5.0 litres per hundred it is sure to be welcomed.

The Passat range is sold standard with a 3 year or 120 000 km manufacturer's warranty and a 5 year or 100 000 km Automotion Maintenance Plan. All Passat models have a 12 year anti-corrosion warranty and service intervals are set at 15 000 kilometres.

What makes the Volkswagen Passat from McCarthy Volkswagen Durban even more attractive is their Guaranteed Value offer. Any one of the friendly sales staff at McCarthy Volkswagen Durban will calculate your guaranteed value for you on the Volkswagen of your choice, and they are offering preferential trade-in values on any New Car Sales deal in this month of December.

So get down to McCarthy Volkswagen Durban and drive away smiling. You'll find them at 40 Monty Naicker Street, Durban or you can call them on 031 - 367 6767.
