Car Boot Vendors to perform at live the Venue!

Car Boot Vendors to perform at live the Venue!

Date: 2012-04-25
Live-The Venue at 166 Matthews Meyiwa Road (formerly Stamfordhill Road), will be rocking on Saturday, April 28 with the Car Boot Vendors, Durban's old school folk/punk and rock 'n roll band who will return to the stage, after a year's hiatus. The band took an indefinite break after extensive touring and recording but is back to rock out at the best live venue to come to Durban EVER!

They will be joined by two of Durban's most exciting contemporary bands, Fruits and Veggies and the Anti Retro Vinyls.

Fruits and Veggies have built up a loyal following over the years with their electric sound and high energy live shows becoming arguably Durban's most exciting live act and The Anit Retro Vinyls have just completed an extensive national tour and their new single "Can I kiss you?" has been play listed not only locally but internationally as well. There will also be some awesome DJ's in-between the bands, such as Ballie and the Wives and Renaud 5 playing a vast selection of retro classics.

Other activities for the evening include the launch of a brand new zine entitled Agenda and an art exhibition where cartoonists and illustrators and invited to display their work with prizes up for grabs for the best artists.

Admission is only R40 and there will be free shooters to the first 100 people.

Merchandise will also be on sale and doors open at 8pm. For more information contact Matt on: 0769483274 or email: matt@yespleasemedia.com
