Manholes For Africa

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2013-06-27
Showing the way, Dicky Schmeltzer set his sights on a warehouse in the industrial node of Shakas Head, where he set up a fascinating manufacturing plant for an intriguing product.

The presses Dicky installed use state-of-the-art technology that are environmentally friendly and produce a range of products including manhole covers, gully's and gratings, junction boxes and a range of civil engineering elements.

Because there is no cement or any metal used in the production process, the product has an almost zero carbon footprint, while exceeding the strength requirements as set out by the SABS.

Dicky's company deals successfully with municipalities, developers, civils contractors golf courses, and anyone who needs switch boxes, manholes and manhole covers, grids, gratings and so much more.

For more information on the products supplied by Manholes for Africa, call them on 032 940 0111 or visit their factory at unit 18 Brooklands, Shakas Industrial Park, Coconut Grove, Shakas Head. You can also visit their website at https://www.manholes4africa.co.za.
