Explosive F1

Explosive F1

This weekend's Spanish Grand-Prix featured the entire spectrum of emotions and proved to be a highly eventful, thrilling event on the F1 calendar.

A race that was literally one for the history books, thanks to Max Verstappen claiming 1st place and making himself the youngest driver ever to win a formula 1 grand prix (aged 18).

While the party ensued in the pits of Team Red Bull, some very awkward vibes were floating around for Mercedes-Benz after the incident coming into the 3rd corner of the race. Lewis Hamilton attempted to pass his teammate and miscalculated, causing him to spin out on the grass and effectively wipe both Mercedes drivers out of the race after only 2 corners.

This was an incredibly disappointing result for Mercedes, who obviously have some beef to settle between their two drivers before their race in two weeks time in Monaco.

Otherwise, Vettel once again got himself implicated in some more aggressive back and forth, this time with Red Bull's Ricciardo. Vettel somehow managed to stay ahead after various pressing attempts at his position, when asked to comment on Ricciardo's tactics, he dismissed the question saying that he would've done the same thing in Riccardo's position.

In the points Nico holds onto first place with 100, Kimi finds his Ferrari in second with 61, Lewis lies third with 57 followed by Sebastian in his Ferrari and Daniel Ricciardo from Red Bull both on 48. Max's win on Sunday gives him 38 points.

The next F1 weekend is 26th to 29th of May in Monaco. Not to be missed.
