The BucoUmhlanga Food and Music Festival at Chris Saunders Park in Umhlanga (near Gateway Theatre of Shopping), set to take place on Wednesday, August 9th- just in time for the Women's Day celebrations - there's something for everyone and is sure to be a day filled with the best of the good life.
Tickets, which cost R100 per person through Webtickets and R120 at the door, include Artisan food stalls boasting fresh, creative, gourmet and mostly South African inspired cuisine, with tasty chow ranging from burgers, chicken strips, Indian street food, chicken prego rolls, peri-peri livers, espetada, flatbreads with gourmet toppings and potato twisters, that will complement the local craft beer offering. There's also a G&T Garden, and selection of fine wines for connoisseurs or those wanting to try some tipple, whilst moving to the sounds of local South African artists including headline act, Matthew Mole
Matthew Mole, is a South African artist from Cape Town who is known for his folk with electronics genre of music and songs such as Take Yours, I'll Take Mine, Run, Holding on and more. He was recently nominated in the categories for Best Pop and Best Produced album at the 23rd edition of the South African Music Awards.
