Ashton International College is incredibly proud of their 2014 group of matric students who produced a brilliant set of results in the challenging IEB final examinations, giving Ashton another 100% pass rate with a 93% Bachelor Degree (University Exemption)," said Joe Erasmus, Executive Head of Ashton International College.
The four Head Prefects achieved 25 out of a possible 28 distinctions, with Head Girl and 2014 Dux Judith Bouwer, emerging as the top achiever, clinching seven distinctions and an aggregate of 88,14%. Judith scored 92% for Mathematics and 90% for Physical Sciences. Head Boy Matthew Kensett achieved 6 distinctions and 79% for Afrikaans, denying him a full house, but was 2nd highest achiever with an aggregate of 86,28% and an outstanding 95% for Mathematics and 92% for Accounting.
Kate Perkins, Deputy Head Girl also achieved seven distinctions, with an aggregate of 85% (93% for Accounting), placing her 4th overall in the group. Deputy Head Boy Conrad Plekker clinched 5 distinctions, boasting 95% for Mathematics. 2014 Proxime Accessit Christopher Birch was also rewarded with 7 distinctions and was placed 3rd in the group rankings with an average of 85,29%.
