Spoil Mum with some enchanting musical magic in the company of the glorious KZN Philharmonic Orchestra and soloists on Sunday 14 May 2017 at 3pm at the Wavehouse in Gateway.

The concert features the sublime KZN Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Lykele Temmingh joined by a feast of soloists: celebrity muso and four times platinum artist Ard Matthews. Durban's darling Natalie Rungan; Divo Clive Gumede; and mother/daughter duo Debbie and Leah Mari.

The programme comprises of timeless classics, romantic ballads and iconic hits including My Baby Just Cares For Me; The Prayer; This is the Moment; Impossible Dream; What a Wonderful World; Imagine; Shallow Waters; Take Me There and That's Love.

Bring your own picnic basket and blanket and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. A variety of food options, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages can be purchased on site on the day.

"We are delighted to be able to offer a family-friendly afternoon concert designed to affirm and spoil all of our Mothers," said Bongani Tembe, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of the KZN Philharmonic. "Relaxing accessible alfresco concerts provide a counterpoint to the orchestra's more structured indoor symphony season series and the myriad of education and development outreach work."

Tickets are R120 adults and R50 for scholars / students at the gate. Gates open at 1.30pm for pre-sold tickets and at 2pm for on the day sales.
