Jazz It Up With Honda Umhlanga

Jazz It Up With Honda Umhlanga

Date: 2017-11-16

Even the entry-level member of the Honda Jazz line-up comes standard with colour-coded bumpers, electrically adjustable mirrors, air-conditioning, remote central locking and a full-size spare wheel.

The Jazz's streamlined profile is a showcase in aerodynamic efficiency. It's a car with the best of both worlds - a compact exterior design coupled with an expansive interior. The latest generation Jazz is designed with Honda's Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure, and features their highest-grade steel yet. The SOHC i-VTEC engine offers a spirited 66 Kilowatts and averages 5.6 litres of fuel per hundred kilometres.

The Jazz range is as safe as ever thanks to a host of active safety features. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA) help towards keeping you in control during an emergency situation. The hazard lights are also activated in an emergency braking situation thanks to Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) technology.

Vehicle Stability Assistance (VSA) is another active safety feature on all new Jazz derivatives. It operates in conjunction with the Honda's throttle control and ABS to optimise traction and control during acceleration, braking and cornering. Using data from wheel rotation, vehicle speed, steering input, lateral acceleration and yaw rate, it applies braking force independently to one or more wheels and modulates acceleration to help retain control of the car under extreme manoeuvres

Passive safety features include dual-stage, multiple-threshold front airbags (SRS), and side curtain airbags that help provide protection for front and outboard rear occupants in the event of a side impact.

Take a Jazz for a test drive, contact Honda Umhlanga on 031 - 580 7900 or visit their friendly sales team at 15 Meridian Drive, Umhlanga Ridge, and Jazz it up.
