Help Mervyn get to London

Help Mervyn get to London

Date: 2018-07-06

Mervyn Bartholomew is a South African with a Diploma in Musical Theatre from Oakfields College, Pretoria. He has been working in the performing arts industry for over two years and has just finished a 9 month International tour of The Sound of Music in South East Asia.

Since graduating from Oakfields College he has been wanting to take his studies to a Masters level but hasn't found the opportunity in South Africa. This year he took a shot in the dark and applied to colleges in London and hit the bulls eye! He has been accepted to study Masters in Musical Theatre in London at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, starting in September 2018.As amazing as this opportunity is, the course costs 18 000 Pounds and the South African rand makes it a huge financial challenge. So he is reaching out to you, friends, family, colleagues and people he hopes to meet one day, to help him get to London by contributing to his crowdfunding page to help pay for his tuition. Mervyn aspires to be a part of the next generation of producers and writers for the theatre industry here in South Africa.
