Pink Phoenix Cancer Foundation What we can learn from a child!

Pink Phoenix Cancer Foundation What we can learn from a child!

Date: 2015-08-14
Miss Petite SA, Sam Gatland, was thrilled when she presented the Teddy Bear that she made and blessed with prayer, to Neli Mthembu, a beneficiary on the "Kids 4 Life" funding Initiative run by Pink Phoenix Cancer Foundation.

Neli was feeling tired from the effects of her chemo the previous day but nothing could keep her spirit down when she saw the pageant dress which Sam brought for her, so off they ran, dressed like the princesses they both are, to play in the rock pools like old friends.

Witnessing this was truly a unique and blessed experience.

Neli has completed her treatment but is presently receiving maintenance chemo as she still waits to find a donor, through the Sunflower Fund, for her bone marrow transplant.

Pink Phoenix Cancer Foundation has assisted Neli by raising funds towards the costs of Neli's treatment.

Neli's parents, Hazel Mthembu (a theatre nurse at Umhlanga Hospital) and Sipho Mthembu (nurse at Enthabeni Hospital) would like to appeal to you through Pink Phoenix Cancer Foundation to register with the Sunflower Fund as you could save a life with a simple blood test.

To donate towards " Kids 4 Life" funding Initiative visit: https://www.pinkphoenix.co.za and use DONATE button for the donation of your choice or SMS "Kids" to 49242 and donate R20.
