School SleepOut
Ashton International Form 3 student, Alexandra Theocharopoulos has been selected to represent KZN schools in the School SleepOut initiative. Alex is an ambassador for this project and her aim is to ensure that the items on the wish lists supplied by her two beneficiaries, Baby Hope House in Pinetown and La Lucia Baby House, are fulfilled.
This young lady has been very involved in various Outreach initiatives and this is one of the highlights and Ashton is privileged to assist her in reaching her goals. Ashton will be hosting the Schools SleepOut on the Cambridge Field on Friday 23 June 2017. Students will only be allowed a cardboard box to sleep on and a sleeping bag and newspapers to keep out the cold, giving them a taste of what life of the homeless are. On the morning of Saturday 24 June, Alex will be handing over her collected items to her two beneficiaries.
She has challenged the following schools to do a sleep out at their schools, and donate items on the beneficiary wish list. Ashton will arrange to collect these items for the schools during the week of 19 June.
