Shannon Hope returns to Seabrooke's Theatre!

Shannon Hope returns to Seabrooke's Theatre!

Date: 2012-11-01
Award-winning pianist and vocal artist Shannon Hope returns to her hometown of Durban, once again. Catch her breath-taking performance at Seabrooke's Theatre (Durban High School) on Friday, November 9th.

The 2011 Standard Bank Ovation Award winner maintains a furious national touring schedule and has made appearances at nearly every major festival around the country, including her award-winning season at the National Arts Festival last year.

Delivering an intensely personal commentary in a vocal epic that has mesmerised audiences countrywide since the release of her debut solo album STILL in 2009, Hope secured a full endorsement from world-renowned Japanese piano manufacturer Kawai Pianos and celebrated the release of her second full studio album in November 2011 with a critically-acclaimed performance at the Fugard Theatre Studio in Cape Town.

Known for her vocal/singer-songwriter genres, with some elements of pop rock; she has been compared to the likes of Tori Amos, Suzanne V Regina Spektor and Adele and is a must-see for all!

Doors open at 19:30pm with the show starting promptly at 20:00pm. Refreshments will be available prior to the show and during the interval. Tickets cost R60 per person.

For more information or to make a booking at the box office at Durban High School's Seabrooke's Theatre contact 031 277 1570.
