On Friday, August 9th, celebrate National Women's Day with friends and family at theUmhlangaFoodandMusicFestival 2019 from 12h00 till 20h00 at Chris Saunders Park inUmhlanga.
Featuringthe local sounds of Freddy L and Veranda Panda who will be headlining the event alongside other local talents who will be performing at the event, you are sure to be singing along whilst relaxing on the picturesque lawns, drink in hand fromone of the many bars. There will be a craft beer tent, G&T garden rum experience and coffee stalls, ensuring there is something for everyone.
Freddy L has an incredible and uniquely raspy voice so good that it made all four coaches on Season 2 of The Voice SA turn their chairs around during blind auditions. Freddy went onto finish in the competitions Top 16. The former front man of 'The Subway Run' will be headlining at this year's event.
Veranda Panda being Liam and Jane, who were born and bred right here in Durban are the second headliner at this year's event. The unlikely combination of EDM and Violin has seen this duo rise to become one of the country's most original and popular acts. Veranda Panda has performed extensively throughout South Africa, Liam and Jane have a repertoire, style and energy that is unmatched by anyone in their field.
When it comes to thefood on offer, you will find an array of tantalising culinary delights fromGourmet Burgers, Bubble Waffles, Strips & Chips, Potato Twisters, Traditional Shisa Nyama and more which will be your fuel to revel the day away.
Tickets cost just R80 per person through webtickets.co.za and R100 at the door. Children under 8 years enter free.
Don't forget, with so much on offer, ownfood anddrink will not be permitted at the venue.Alcohol will not be sold to persons under the age of 18.
