Nissan celebrates market leadership with NP200 Stealth Special Edition

Nissan celebrates market leadership with NP200 Stealth Special Edition

Date: 2015-02-20

Nissan is kicking off 2015 in style with the 'Nissan NP200 Stealth' - an ultra-cool special edition that combines the famous practicality of the bakkie with head-turning looks.

Despite its name, customers are sure to get noticed in the 'Stealth' thanks to its wealth of themed design features and approved factory-fitted accessories - all for a hard to beat retail price of R 169 000 (inc. VAT).The leisure-focused 1.6 petrol special edition, which is produced locally in Nissan's Rosslyn Plant, taps into South Africans' love of their 'go-anywhere' work and leisure bakkies.

The NP200 took on all-comers when it entered the market in 2008 with a segment-leading payload of 800 kg with one diesel and two petrol engines. It soon became one of South Africa's favourite sub one-tonne pickups.

The Stealth will leave rivals in its shadow thanks to a winning combination of generous accessories - all fitted at the factory - and styling cues. The 1.6 litre special edition comes with air conditioning, ABS and two airbags while dark grey techno paint, darkened sports bar and flush-fitting tonneau cover kick-off the dark theme.

A prominent nudge bar is also added that fits below the colour-coded grille frame. Nissan has opted for a darkened steel finish for both the sports and nudge bar, giving the NP200 Stealth a dominant road presence. To find out more about this amazing offer, which includes Nissan's 6 year / 150 000 km warranty, contact McCarthy Nissan Gateway on 031 576 5300 or visit their showroom at 2 - 11 Sunset Close, Umhlanga Ridge.
