First Entrepreneurs 4 Africa Conference a triumph!

First Entrepreneurs 4 Africa Conference a triumph!

Date: 2013-07-04
The Robin Hood Foundation's inaugural Entrepreneurs 4 Africa Conference ran from 25-27 June at the Greek Hellenic Hall and was a huge success. Over three hundred previously disadvantaged start-up entrepreneurs and unemployed youth were trained, inspired and mentored by top class speakers, trainers, and experienced business owners.

The free, three-day conference covered the following: business ethics, success stories, managing money, ideas generation, basics of book-keeping, the business plan, marketing on a budget, business legalities, pricing and costing, business etiquette, image and grooming, customer service, goal setting and motivation.

Founder of The Robin Hood Foundation, Cindy Norcott, says: "From start to finish, we were delighted with the attitude of the delegates. They were inspired, fully engaged and appreciative. There was an atmosphere of humility, excitement, unity and hope. Our speakers were of excellent quality and their talks dove-tailed so well with each other. The delegates left the conference with practical skills, new ideas and lots of success secrets from some of the most experienced and successful business people. I believe the conference exceeded all our expectations in every way and my team and I look forward to helping even more budding entrepreneurs in the future."

Follow up mentorship sessions for this year's candidates will take place on 18 July, 15 August, 19 September and 17 October from 1 to 4:30pm at the Greek Hellenic Hall.
