CNC'S U14 Triangular 7S Rugby

CNC'S U14 Triangular 7S Rugby

Date: 2015-05-22
Crawford College North Coast hosted their first U/14 triangular 7's rugby fixture on Saturday 9 May 2015. It was a great day for rugby as CNC hosted Curro Mt Richmore and PLG from Ballito. CNC and PLG started proceedings with a bang as both schools came out firing with a try a piece in the opening 2 minutes. CNC U/14s pulled up their socks and scored before the half time whistle. Crawford College North Coast started the second half with lighting speed scoring 3 more tries in the second half, winning the game 25-5.

Curro Mt Richmore and PLG took to the field in the second game of the day. With both sides looking evenly matched in the opening exchanges it was hard to predict who would come out on top. Curro Mt Richmore took the game by the scruff of the neck and beat PLG 25-0.

The last fixture of the day saw CNC take on Curro Mt Richmore for top honours. Both teams came out onto field with a firing passion to win. Going into the half time break, CNC lead Curro Mt Richmore 15-5. It was a hard hitting second half, but Crawford College North Coast were too strong in the end beating Curro Mt Richmore 31-5.

It was an eventful day at Crawford College North Coast, with parents and students enjoying the sunshine and quality of rugby being played by all the students involved. The support from parents from all three schools was great to witness.
