Haven Of Rest Receives Praise And Blessings From International Prophet

Last Saturday Tongaat's Halfway House, the Haven of Rest, received a visit from Zambian born preacher and now Ballito resident Dr. Felix Siame.

Dr. Felix together with his fast growing congregation from the Ballito Christian Centre arrived at the Haven of Rest to feed and inspire the residents of the centre.

Haven of Rest is all its name says it to be, it is a place of safety and provision, healing and restoration for all who live there.

Within the walls of this renovatedold hospital are many ministries; living quarters for the aged, a rehab dorm for women and men, hospice dorm, AIDS/HIV dorm, a low-cost dental and medical clinic and a Christian elementary school.

The majority of the students in the school are HIV positive and live on-site in small units designed to be a 'family home' for them, each with two live-in house mums who take turns in caring for them.

Haven of Rest opens its doors to anyone in need and does not turn anyone away.

Dr Felix recently opened Ballito Christian Center and is conducting weekly Sunday services out of the Scouts Hall; he visited Haven of Rest, thanking God for preserving his life from a fatal car accident that took place in late September.

It was also an opportunity for Dr Felix to give thanks for his great fortune at finding the perfect venue for his Ballito Ministries.

The morning started with prayer, followed by devotional signing in English, Zulu and even Nigerian. The residents of Haven of Rest were treated to a five-course feast, which included endless supply of chicken curry, brinjol dhall and savoury rice with a salad.

The devotional singing continued throughout the day and many residents joined Dr Felix in singing and dancing.

Join Dr. Felix every Sunday at the Scouts Hall in Ballito from 8am. Come and meet a man of God and enjoy a time of praise and devotion.
