Now that we have proven that our world leadership is missing more than just a few marbles, we have to consider that there is more to life than being a good consumer and a good producer.
Some people have deodorants that last longer than Lizz Truss' presidency, however her successor makes for an interesting individual. Rishi Sunak's early career started around 2001 where he worked for none other than Goldman Sachs till 2004 and then went on to work at various hedge fund management firms. He only got into politics in 2015 where he rose to the top like a cork, becoming Under-Secretary of State in three short years. Then Chief Secretary to the Treasurer in 2019, Chancellor of the Exchequer in 2020 and Prime Minister in 2022. Wow. The first Hindu Prime Minister appointed on the auspicious day of Diwali. From an interesting corner a cry for sanity to prevail and peace to be sort out came from Emanuel Macron. He urged the Pope to call Putin to initiate peace talks, and Moscow
