Through My Eyes
Date: 2016-01-15
2015 has been a tough year for many. The economy has dwindled somewhat, the water has dried out and our rainbow democracy has almost vanished with a tiny utterance of a sparrow's fart.
But 2016 is presenting new challenges, new adventures and new business strategies. Yes, the weakened Rand is a worry but this just means that more business is going to be done internally and that can't be such a bad thing.
In the twenty-one years that I have published The Bugle I have seen people with integrity and ingenuity flourish beyond anyone's expectations. Their businesses bourgeoned, their bank accounts amplified and their status elevated due to their commitment to socially improving, not just their standing but the well being of other people.
These very successful individuals who now own local, national and international businesses, flourished despite the weakening currency, economic crises and social cataclysms. They prospered because they uplifted other people.
A very successful client of mine, who is always on my case (rightfully so, I might add) about going 'big' once said to me, "Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
Beautiful words by a man who believes in my greatness, not because he has some ulterior motive but because he wants me to succeed and be successful and enjoy privileges that are available to those that are prosperous.
As we step into 2016, lets step boldly into a consciousness of unity and prosperity together. Remember if you are not making someone else's lifebetter, then you arewasting your time.
We can achieve nothing on our own but as a team, as a unit, as a country of honest and caring individuals, we can all reap the benefits of our abundances, limits - like fears - are often just an illusion.
So everyone reading this today, please don't regret a moment in life because you chose to quit because you let someone else get the better of you. Do your very best. Regardless of anyone who tries to keep you down. Don't quit on you! Dream Big. Never Give Up. Helpother peopleachieve successandyou will be successful.
Let's be kind to one another and spread the love to each other regardless of our ethnicity, creed or social standing.
