It's a C-Class or a C-Class or a C-Class
Well you can probably imagine the level of excitement when they delivered the new SLC 200 entry level model of the new SLC range. This range goes all the way up to the Mercedes-AMG SLC43, and all of them carry the C-Class aura with them.
Well the SLC 200 dropped its top for me in just twenty seconds flat and the wind was so neatly deflected by the aerodynamic design and the clever see through panels that flap out from behind the head rests.
Well if you want to be sedate and cruise the seafront roads with the top down, the silky purr of the 135 kilowatt engine murmuring underneath you, this is possible in the SLC 200. Then, if you want, you can slip into Sport + mode and blast yourself over the horizon in a blistering dash.
Of course, it's a Mercedes-Benz, so it will stop on a dime as well, I tested that thoroughly, and it will turn some heads so bad that they may need a neck brace. I tested that too. The SLC 200 is a seven second car and has more than enough sporty capabilities for the average driver. If you want more than that the SLC 43 will do it for you in just 4,7 seconds.
Everything else about test driving the SLC 200 was like a romantic affair with Candice Swanepoel. I was so sad it had to end.
