Beverly Hills Hotel Defining Cocktail Culture - Launching Their Summer Cocktail Menu
It was a beautiful Wednesday afternoon last week, when Beverly Hills Hotel launched their Summer Cocktail Menu, Celebrity Cocktail Mixologist Nicholas Crouse from Lucky Shaker came to show off his incredible skills at mixing Durban's finest mÈlanges.
Marketing and Communications Manager for Beverly Hills Hotel, Lorna Gourlay, introduced the menu saying; "Our new General Manager John Aritho is the right man for this hotel, with a 25 hour day, heaven help us all." She joked.
"The key thing for us is that he listens to the consumer and he is slowly doing little tweaks and changes, keeping in mind that this is an iconic lady with a legacy of tradition."
Lorna continued, " We have to understand that the consumer is younger, the consumer has young children so we need to be able to work around what our guests are doing, and understand the changing trends."
"This is the first of the changes that are taking place, introducing the Summer Cocktail menu, John has taken it quite seriously, he has asked Nicholas Crouse to be our consultant before Nicholas heads off to Paris to represent South Africa at the World Cocktail Championship."
"Nicholas is very passionate and inspiring and has been feeding that enthusiasm to our waiters who will be carrying this journey through to our customers."
We could sense the passion Lorna was expressing, "Elements CafÈ has always been known for its cocktails, however these new Summer Cocktails are something to behold. Nicholas has created a Summer Cocktail menu using fresh, seasonal fruits and that are only available until the end of February. We hope to pull Nicholas back to help us develop an Autumn and Winter cocktail menu. Come to elements cafÈ and experience the magic of fresh summer indulgence," concluded Lorna with her welcoming smile. See you at Elements for cool summer cocktails.
