Music legend Brian Finch to perform in Durban

Music legend Brian Finch to perform in Durban

Date: 2017-04-28

South African country-rock giant Brian Finch will join a number of other top artists at this week's Sol Sunday Sessions at Northwood Crusaders Sports Club on 30 April from 12 noon.

Hailed by many as a national treasure, Finch has 13 albums to his credit and a music career spanning more than 40 years. Born and raised in Durban and now based in Prince Albert in the Karoo, his packed-out performances never fail to strike a chord with both old and new fans alike.

Also on the bill is Durban singer-songwriter Shomon, as well as acoustic duo Qadasi & Maqhinga performing a fusion of maskandi and folk. With the news just in that they have been nominated for a 2017 South African Music Award (SAMA) for Best Traditional Album, this is an act you don't want to miss!

Expect a great line-up of live music, good food, drink specials, giveaways and loads of fun for the whole family. Entrance is free and there is plenty of parking, as well as open and undercover seating.

Crusaders is at 10 Ranleigh Crescent at the bottom of Swapo Road/Broadway in Durban North.
