Enter The Arteon - From McCarthy Volkswagen Durban

Enter The Arteon - From McCarthy Volkswagen Durban

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2018-07-27

Driving the new Volkswagen Arteon had me re-evaluating what I want in a car all over again. From first sight, the Arteon had me weak at the knees. The dominant horizontal power lines in its body styling were like a sense overload. I saw my hand gliding slowly towards the Arteon's shoulder. The expression from the front shouted sophistication and capability, silently, tangibly.

The interior treatment had all the familiar Volkswagen elegance and functionality, and under the skin the Arteon offered a range of new Driver Assistance and convenience systems, like predictive beam control, bringing the sporty character of the Arteon to light. The sports seats with Nappa leather had a massage function and the fully digitised instruments with heads up display added an opulent luxurious feeling to driving the Arteon. The 9.2 inch colour display just needed a wave from me and it would change channels, tracks, whatever, the high tech in the Arteon gave it a futuristic modern edge. I could feel a bond starting between me and this car.

Its proportions were perfect, the road handling dreamlike and its gutsy performance satisfied something primeval in me.

I suggest you contact McCarthy Volkswagen Durban and arrange a test drive of the exciting sporty Arteon, call them on 031 - 567 6767 or visit their showroom at 40 Monty Naicker Road, Durban.
