The Roseway Waldorf Arts Festival is just around the corner! This inspiring event is an annual highlight in the Upper Highway cultural calendar (just ask someone who was there last year!)
Delicious food, beautiful artworks and exciting performances from all around Durban - in the beautiful, natural setting of the Roseway Waldorf school.
If you are a visual artist yourself - there is also the opportunity for you to get involved and win some fantastic prizes! The Art competition is open to all artists over the age of 16 and the winner will be awarded a Gallery Position at the prestigious KZNSA Art Gallery in Durban.
With performances by Kloof Senior Primary, Northlands Girls High, Hillcrest High, Benjamin Pine, Sarnia Primary and Westville Senior Primary, the event is sure to buzzing with youthful talent. If you're keen to get moving there will be Irish dancing, belly dancing and fitness fun dancing demos to inspire you. Other highlights include Iain 'Ewok' Robinson, local aerosol artist, who will be creating a large art-work on the day that will go home with the lucky winner of the raffle.
This is not just another festival, it's a chance to come together as a community and celebrate all the beautiful things that make us truly human!
