Russia Today Talk

Russia Today Talk

Date: 2014-02-21
An interesting book, History Without the Boring Bits, has been donated by Mr Peter Adams, of Adams Books, to be raffled by BotSoc. It is a chronology of an alternative history of the world. Raffle tickets will be only R5 each, with proceeds going to the Botanical Education Trust.

The draw will be at the Russia Today talk during the afternoon of Sunday 23 February, but you can also buy tickets in advance or if you can't attend. Please bank the amount into the account of Botanical Society of SA, Nedbank, Durban North branch code 135226, account number 1352029901. To ensure your name is entered on the list for the draw, state clearly that it is for the raffle and fax the deposit slip to 086 651 8969 or e-mail to botsoc-kzn@mweb.co.za. We suggest in such a case that you take at least ten, but preferably more, tickets.

The best option, of course, is to come to the talk and possibly receive your prize there, where tickets will be on sale for the last time. We can guarantee an excellent afternoon with magnificent views of beautiful Russia, accompanied by most interesting and sometimes hard hitting information. The talk is held during the day for the convenience.
