Whats The Issue?

Whats The Issue?

Wow! What a mess this world is in. Muslims killing Christians in central Africa, Israelis bombarding Palestinians in Gaza. We all seem to have forgotten the Syrians who are killing each other although not too indiscriminately because there is not so much that they can discriminate between each other about.

Wikipedia has a list of conflict areas and war zones so long any God fearing human being would hang their head in shame as I did when I consulted it. If only we could be more like animals, the world would be a better place.

So I will quickly sneer at the Western leaders Oh Bommer and his British counterpart, ( don't you love that word), who have both now made unfounded defamatory statements about Putin shooting down the Malasian airline. As if Putin had nothing better to do with his afternoon. Even the Dutch specialists said that reporting on the information from the black box was way too premature to be used to make any conclusions. But the propaganda war rages on. I flip from Russia Today to Sky News and Fox and if it were not so sad it would be funny.

What was really funny was seeing Julius on his arse. I don't get the red onezee thing. I get the wanting to align with the working class, but there has to be some level of decorum. Traditional dress would have been more respectable, but it is hard to respect someone who is dressed inappropriately. Maybe he will change the world one item of clothing at a time. Here is a lovely quote from him, "We will shut down business in this Johannesburg. Once business in Johannesburg is shut down, it means business in the whole of Africa has stopped." Now these are the words of a real leader. Someone who has a plan to make life better for even the poorest of the poor. He must have a magical plan because if he gets his way, I can't see how it will improve that status quo. And I am not talking about the rock band here.

But all is not lost, apparently Thuthukile has shown us the way to nepotism in the new South Africa, Brian has shown us how we can steal millions from the sick and the elderly and buy a seven million Rand house in Bryanston after taking some friends on holiday to Cuba. There is still hope for the poor.
