Even the Chinese are not impressed with this development, the voice of Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi could be heard ringing out of Bejing with him saying' "We call on all sides to remain rational and exercise restraint, and not take any escalatory actions that irritate regional tensions, and not open a Pandora's box," and continuing to chastising Washinton calling on them to "alter its extreme pressure methods" against Iran.
Donald moving his troops to the sheep like country of Poland, in a move against Germany because Germany aren't towing the American line, Poland is ticking all the boxes with America, is so blatantly antagonistic as to be childish almost. If it weren't such a dire consequence we were facing we might be able to laugh about it. But death and destruction as an effort to make financial wealth leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, not sure about you
The Yanks are now calling their gas, Freedom Gas. I suppose the idea behind it is if you want freedom, then you have to buy the American gas, because the Russian gas will not give you freedom. I can't see how Polish president Andrzej Duda and his sidekick national defence minister Mariusz Balszczak can be so cow towing to the US. They are even going to buy the US Freedom Gas. It's a laugh a minute. Not funny!
Back home there is more 'not funny' stuff going on, like the EFF being denied the chance to appeal the judgement against them in the case where they falsely accused Trevor Manual of corruption and nepostism and refused to take their statement down from their social media platforms. The Judge said that this was "among the most serious and egregious" offences and I thought it would be great if the EFF has any of that VBS bank money left over from those parties, they can pay the half a million Rand damages and all their costs.
Good news comes with the High Court ordering Trillion, the Gupta linked consulting firm, to pay back a few Rands short of six hundred million Rand to ESKOM. Let's hope they use the money wisely this time around.
