What's the issue?

What's the issue?

Eish, I am so tjatjarag! Ek's vol k*k. But hey, it really is my problem. Some people out there sincerely want to take it away from me and make it their problem, but unfortunately I own it. It's mine and I like it. So deal with it. Speaking of dealing with it, there are some huge issues out there that people are dealing with.

Issues bigger than Vivian Reddy's pending investigation into the award of the mammoth metering tender, bigger than Trevor manuals problem of trying to convince investors that the South African Mining Industry is a wonderful investment opportunity. Some of the issues out there are so big, they're even bigger than labour minister Mildred Oliphants decision to allow a minimum wage for farm labourers of R105.00 per day. What could be that big? I hear you ask, even if you didn't ask. You should have.

What could be bigger than a wage bill that will cripple a percentage of farmers by making their operations uneconomical and driving them towards mechanisation and reducing the number of jobs available on farms. Farming is the backbone of nearly every nation in the world. Neglect your farmers at your peril. The number of farmers who have been murdered on their farms in South Africa in 2012 is not allowed to be published but it is a point of intense shame for all South Africans.

However the issue I am relating to is even bigger than that. Can you imagine the magnitude of the issue. Bigger than Mac Maharaj being sold out by his own sister in law in an expose that links all the way back to Shabir and the infamous arms deal. I relly think the only way we common South Africans will ever find out the truth about that arms deal is if we get a fresh new president who is not a member of the ANC. Maybe the ACDP will manage it.

Onwards and forwards, the issue I am referring to is so huge the whole world is reverberating with its disgusting imagery and shameful shenanigans. I am speaking of the Syrian civil war and the ability of the United Nations and all the world to stand back and watch as innocent children, their mothers and fathers are bombed, maimed, displaced and treated like so much dirt. Saeed Jalili, the head of Iran's National Security Council, understandably shook his finger at Israel in saying that they will regret their action of aggression against the country.

Here is where I start to get really worried, because the only reasoning I can find for the attack comes from the United States. They say some stuff about attacking a convoy of Russian SA-17 anti-aircraft missiles that would limit Israel's ability to gather information about their enemies, but why isn't Israel putting out this information. It just makes them look so bad.

Anyway it is nice to know that our problems, as big as they may seem, at least not as big as Syria's problems.
