It's All Brand New

It's All Brand New

Author: Tomas Yoko

With the New Year now well under way, there is a lot to look forward to, exciting developments and all kinds of new stuff that we never had in 2013.

One such thing is the arrival on the scene of the year 2014's version of the legendary Kawasaki Ninja ZX10. And who could be more suited to introduce us to this awe inspiring new model than Juan De Wit, from East Coast Motorcycles.

Juan's eyes took on a glazed quality as he described the new ZX10 to me. Juan spoke of the combination of power, handling and sensibility that the new ZX10 promises. On the road, on the track or even in the busy streets of Durban, Juan all but began to drool as he described the subtle nuances of the new Ninja.

I can't say it better than the experts so I quote "To be able to deliver top notch performances at both low and high speed, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10-R needed a set of high end technologies, therefore, the company's engineers have equipped it with an electronic steering damper system developed in cooperation with …hlins. You also get Kawasaki's Traction Control, which further enhances the bike's handling abilities and optional ABS brakes."

Driven by a powerful 998 cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four valves per cylinder, inline-four engine, the new Ninja on the block transfers its power to the back wheel through a six speed gearbox with an adjustable back-torque limiting clutch, providing some of the smoothest down shifts on the road.

Do not wait to ride this beast, go and see Juan at East Coast Motor Cycles and demo one today. You will find him ar 10 Meridian Drive, Umhlanga Ridge or you can call him on 031 566 3024 for more information.
