Alfa-Romeo 4C For Sure

Alfa-Romeo 4C For Sure

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2015-06-19
It grumbled onto my driveway, sounding as though it was being contained and wanted to get back to the open road as soon as possible. The curves and flairs of the bodywork beckoned to me, this is a car for driving.

As soon as I could I took the 4C off my driveway and away to the nearest piece of open road I could find. It called for some caution because of the "raised pedestrian crossings" in my hometown, however I was out on the newly surfaced M4 within a very short space of time.

The Alfa Romeo 4C is a true sports car that makes no excuses and asks no favours. The low bucket seats and the tight sports car suspension left me with no doubt that I was in for a thrilling ride.

I didn't know, but subsequently discovered that the four cylinder 1750 turbo petrol engine that was shuttling me with acceleration from an action movie, has set new records for engine performance.

At six thousand revs per minute the 4C puts out maximum power of 176 kilowatts and sounds amazing doing it. I struggled to understand the radio and how it worked, or didn't, so listening to the sound of the engine was not adulterated by radio noises. The 4C generates 350 Newton metres of torque and is reported to rocket from zero to one hundred in just 4,5 seconds. It felt faster to me, I was so enthralled by this Alfa Romeo.
