Be sure not to miss this year's exciting Durban Fashion Fair (DFF) 2019, a treat for all fashion lovers with more than 50 designers - including six from other African countries - showcasing their designs on the ramp at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre, between Wednesday, September 25th to Friday, September 27th. The designers make their mark in 15 shows that form part of the DFF, and stake their claim in the competitive yet magnificent world of fashion.
And, not only will the fashion lovers be spoilt, but the designers themselves in the DFF Recognition Awards Show on Saturday, September 28th, which honour and recognise the top designers and models taking part in this year's DFF 2019. The DFF 2019 takes place alongside the Durban Business Fair, which celebrates its 21st anniversary this year.
Presented by the eThekwini Municipality as part of its successful Fashion Development Programme, the DFF, now in its eighth year, brings exceptionally talented designers, the media, fashion buyers as well as patrons together for the very best in local fashion with top class shows that allow local creative's to strut their stuff alongside the best in the world.
According to Sindi Shangase, the Programme Manager for the Business Support Tourism & Markets Unit said, "These aspiring models have been provided with invaluable training over three months - from runway skills, posing and posture presentation and photographic editorial techniques and all things "model decorum". This will give them the tools to reach for their dreams and take full advantage of the opportunity to participate in a high profile fashion shows kick starting with the DFF", she also added that she is very proud of their progress and looks forward to seeing these new faces taking to a professional runway for the very first time and wishes them all well!

Tickets for all evenings and events are on sale now via webtickets.co.za or at Pick 'n Pay outlets. They are priced at R100 per person per show. Students will pay just R50 per show. Tickets for the Awards Evening - at R200 per person - are also on sale. There will also be limited tickets sold at the door!
