Thedrive to King of Glory Ministries takes you through some of the sad realitiesof our struggling economy and as you turn the road takes you up to the frontgate of the place where sisters Taryn and Roxanne Maharaj, where the ministryis located.

TheMaharaj sisters reside in Shakaskraal, however theircongregations assemble from far and wide and they are here with a veryimportant ministry. Growing up in a devout Hindu family and transcending toEvangelical Christian pastors, this is a story of revival and the power ofJesus.

"Itwas in 2012 that our journey began," Taryn tells The Bugle, "We converted myfather's mechanic workshop, which is attached to our home and we turned it intoa place of worship. The calling was so deep, to follow the voice of the King ofGlory."

"Ourvision is best described in Psalm 24, we are taking the Glory of Jesus to themasses and we want to change people's lives. We want people to walk out of hereon Sunday after service and take our message home and live with the spirit ofGod always."

"Ourchurch is a hospital." Taryn continues, "Come as you are, let us help you comeout of the prison that enslaves you. We are here not just as a place of worshipbut also as a refuge for those needing help. We stand for human rights, we donot believe in the commonly used quote by pastors, 'Hatch. Match. And Dispatch'we are her to serve in the name of the father."

Tarynand Roxanne's journey has not been easy and without challenges, but through thegrace of the Lord they were allowed to serve their purpose, their message ofhope and revival spreads through KZN and on into Mozambique.

TheMaharaj sister's dream is to eventually offer drug rehabilitation and a shelterfacility for those most vulnerable in our community. For this however, theyneed the full support of our community, if you can support their dream in anyway, Taryn can be reached on 078 8007 716 or Roxy on 082 6357 680.
