Occasions on Broadway owner Lynda Heystek, had to think "Out of the Box" when she heard that her shop had to move to make way for a restaurant.

A decision had to be made within 48 hours and that was just over two months ago. Now, only 30 meters away from the original store, in what used to be Kensinton Dr is the new dynamic concept - Occasions.The concept was, ALL Under One Roof. With in a short period of just over two weeks with the help of her son Dean who came up from George for a week to help with this mammoth task, a concept store was birthed The old gym has been transformed into a glamorous venue.

"It has been nothing short of a miracle," said Lynda, "I have a super team on board, now not only suit and wedding dress hire and sales, and a seamstress, but also decor and florist, cakes, sound and lighting, personalized candles, invitations, photography and videography, even a marriage officiator who handles everything from contracts, home affairs and ceremonies."

Over one hundred interested parties arrived at Lynda's official launch, which just shows how popular the wedding industry really is.
