The Cell C Sharks Win The Currie Cup

The Cell C Sharks Win The Currie Cup

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2018-11-09

Our men in black & white, the Cell C Sharks, put on a courageous and masterful performance in their Currie Cup Final match against the Stormers in Cape Town.

Bringing back the trophy and sharing in the thrill of winning, the team and its supporters and as you can see by the sea of orange, their sponsors, all took time to hold the trophy high, kiss it, drink from it, and generally revel in the mood of winning.

An obvious stop over was the offices of the title sponsor Cell C in Umhlanga, where the celebrations added a splash of orange to the usual black & white theme.

We are all so proud of our team and having the Currie Cup in KZN might not bring instant World Peace, but it feels really good and adds a tinge more hope to our silver lining that is life in KZN.

Well done Sharks and well done Cell C, until next season the Currie Cup is in Durbs!
